Unless you want your pets to sleep with you or on the furniture while on the road, you have to make plans for their nighttime comfort as well. That means bringing along a bed for each pet, and planning for times when your animal wants a bit of privacy. It may not be practical to have a standard kennel when you are traveling, but collapsible versions are available.
A kennel, or small dog house, can be set up in a shady spot near your RV. It can also be used tucked into a corner of your room. This gives your pet a place to be, and keeps them out from under foot. If you like having your pet ride up front with you, invest in one of the many dog seats available. This will keep them safe, even as you drive.
